How do I reserve a time slot for my client?
Regular sessions let you reserve a recurring time slot with your client so they never lose their spot.
After each session finishes, the next one is automatically booked for you — no need to manually create bookings each time.
How to set up a regular session
When creating a new booking with a client, you'll see a checkbox labelled "Secure this spot as a regular session" on the date and time step. Tick it, then choose how often you'd like to meet:
- Every week
- Every 2 weeks
- Every 3 weeks
- Every 4 weeks
Once you confirm the booking, Talked will reserve that same day and time for your next 9 sessions (10 total, including the first). Your client will receive an email confirming their regular sessions have been set up.

How future sessions are created
After each session is completed, Talked automatically converts the next reserved slot into a confirmed booking. Both you and your client will receive a notification when this happens.
If you're not available at the reserved time (for example, you've updated your availability), that session will be skipped and both you and your client will be notified by email. The remaining sessions on the schedule won't be affected.
The payments and cancellation policy all work the same for scheduled bookings, so the client is only charged 48 hours before the session starts.
Cancelling
You or your client can cancel the entire regular session schedule at any time. When they do, all remaining reserved slots are released and no further sessions will be booked. Any sessions that have already been confirmed are not affected.
Things to note
- Regular sessions are not available for free consultations or EAP-funded bookings.
- A client can only have one active regular session schedule with you at a time.
- The frequency and time slot can't be changed mid-schedule. If your client needs a different time or cadence, cancel the current schedule and set up a new one.
- When all 10 sessions have been booked, you'll both receive an email prompting you to renew.
